Nano-Materials and Bio-Sensing Research Center

Semiconductor nano-materials are heart of electronics and Opto-electronic industry. Moreover, they are finding applications in solar cells, bio-sensors and thermoelectric power generation. Therefore growth and characterization of novel semiconductors nanostructures has fundamental importance. The aim of the our research group is to develop methods for the cost effective and quality graded growth of novel nanostructures for various device applications such solar cells, p-n junction, metal-semiconductor diodes, thermoelectric generators and sensors. We are focusing on the physics of intrinsic and extrinsic defects in wide band gap semiconductors using optical and electrical characterization techniques. Our group consists of professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professors, Post-Doctoral fellows, Ph.D students and M.Phil students. Our laboratory is fully equipped with state of the art research infrastructure. We are also offering sample preparation and measurements facilities to interested individuals. If you are interested, kindly contact with group leader.
