Thermoelectricity

NBRC is also working on the growth of various semiconductor nanostructures for thermoelectric power generation applications. Following is the list of materials which are developed for thermoelectric applications in our research laboratory:

  • CuAlO2

  • Zn2GeO4, Cu2GeO4, Mg2GeO4

  • CuInO

  • ZnInO

  • GeSnO

  • AgSnO2

  • CZTS

  • Ag-ZnO

  • Si-Ge nanowires

  • SnSe nanostructures

  • Alloying of ZnO with different metals

  • Nitrides as well

Our efforts in this direction are resulted in the production of more 100 research publications in last 3 years and couple of research grants.
